On February 5, a post on the Korean online forum Pann Nate gained traction when an anonymous user accused LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae of using an electronic cigarette (vape).
The post was based on a photo Eunchae had uploaded to fans via Weverse DM, where she shared a picture of a meal she had with friends. Along with the image, she wrote, “I ate with friends. Almost finished doing the dishes and came back.”
However, netizens quickly noticed an unexpected detail in the image. In the top right corner of the photo, what appeared to be a UWELL Havok SE vape was visible. The original poster questioned whether Eunchae, who is 18 years old, was legally allowed to use such a device, subtly implying wrongdoing on her part.
Despite the accusations, fans and netizens rushed to Eunchae’s defense. Many pointed out that the vape was positioned closer to her friend, suggesting it did not belong to the idol herself. Others emphasized that Eunchae is of legal age, meaning there would be no legal issue even if the vape were hers.
